Pocket Casts' web player snags its first big update, adds episode starring and Chromecast support

The web version of one of our favorite podcast apps, Pocket Casts, just got its first big update since launching. Coming in this update is the ability to star individual episodes, Chromecast support, and more. Here's a breakdown of what's new on the Pocket Casts web player:
Version 1.1
You've always been a star, we know that. But now your episodes can be too! Collect all your favorites in the side bar.
What else does a star need? A platform! Chromecast to your television for that big screen experience (Chrome only, no one ever got famous by running IE).
While your stunt double does all the hard work, why not kick back, sort your your episodes in reverse order and find a good story podcast to listen to.
A little note on that starring function for episodes. Once you star your favorites, they will show up in the sidebar under a new "starred" category.
If you haven't given Pocket Casts on the web a shot, now might be a good time. You'll be able to use it free for 14 days, at which point you can pay a one-time fee of $9 to continue enjoying your podcasts from the web. As a bonus, if you use the Pocket Casts apps on your mobile devices, they will stay in sync with the web app
