Yota not switching to Sailfish OS for future devices after all [Updated]

Update: Sorry folks, we've been told that this is, in fact, incorrect.
Original story: Russian smartphone maker Yota reportedly plans to move away from Android in its future devices. The maker of the YotaPhone will apparently instead be using Jolla's Sailfish OS. The Finland-based Jolla announced an updated version of Sailfish earlier this year with better compatibility with Android apps. Yota did not give a reason for the switch
.
The YotaPhone stands out amongst Android smartphones with its unique, dual-screen setup, with a traditional LCD panel on the front of the phone, and an e-ink display on the back. Yota's latest device, the YotaPhone 2, is already available throughout Europe, and is currently available in the US through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign
